Thumbs up What do you like most about camping?

Note:

"I can drink beer outside" is NOT considered a valid answer. =]

Camping provides an outlet for the pent-up woodsman inside of me who is raring to get out.

Seriously, I think I'd explode if I didn't camp.

Meeting new people and seeing stuff that can only be seen while camping and getting time to unwind and get out of the house and relax in the fresh air

You guys made me laugh out loud!!!!!

I love that initial fresh, dewy, piney smell that hits you when you first open the door (or unzip the tent flap) first thing in the morning.
A day filled with hiking, biking, fishing, nature watching, boating, swimming, grilling and not to mention the camp-fire!!!
No electronics, no watch, no phones ringing, no-one noticing I have 2 different coloured socks on, and yes, yes perhaps a nice CC (Canadian Club Whiskey) and Ginger-ale with fellow campers at the end of the day!!

Spending time with the family. No set schedules of activities. My morning coffee outside with a magazine and a Tastykake or two. No pressures from work. Just kicking back and enjoying the outdoors. We're all pretty fortunate to be able to enjoy our camping whatever way we like. Just always remember to leave it better than you found it for the next campers.
