What does ss stand for anyway

We are leaving tomorrow to look at a 2011 rockwood 2604ss. I am a little confused. Does the ss stand for signature series or not? Sorry I am totally new to this

I am pretty sure it means super slide, for example i have a puma 26rlss, 26 foot, rear living room ,super slide

Yes, SS is for super slide, which refers to the large slideout in the living area which contains the couch and dinette.

I should have added: my super slide is both the dinette & couch together ..that slide out , adds quite a bit of room when out, ours has 2 lazy boy chairs in back with a large rear window. hope this helps. Happy shopping

I have a 2011 2604 that was ordered as a 2604SS but according to the 2011 Brochure they have dropped the SS. I think at one time there was a 2604 that only had the couch slideout plus the SS where the couch and table were in the slideout

Thanks everyone for the help. We are upgrading from our little 18 footer
and having a little information overload. I was trying to understand the option packages thinking the ss stood for signature. It's all coming together now. Getting super excited.
