Good day- I have a 2014 Rockwood 8281WS fifth wheel ultra light. After taking delivery in April, I called FR with several questions. One question was about the cover you described. They told me the one on the back, near the top, in the center was a roof/attic vent to let air in/out. I also have one on the curbside below the kitchen and that one is a vent for the galley tank (on that one, you can see the tubing going to it.) I hope this helps. Happy camping

Yes it is an attic vent. I was told by the rockwood rep at the dealer that they were having problems with condensation so they added this.

It is NOT a roof vent!

It is obviously a running light or perhaps break light.

Is that a joke? If it is, it is a very bad one.
And it is 'brake', not 'break'.

We have the same vent on our Flagstaff, I thought it was a vent for the galley tank until I took the refrigerator roof vent off. It is just an open vent into the roof area.

It appears Barney thought the subject was the clearance light, not the vent above it. Easy mistake.

I was joking, and it had my DW crying tears of laughter.
I guess she is the only one who appreciates my humour.
