Wheel width on 2504s

The wheel spacing on my recently purchased 2504s has got me baffled. I can no longer use my x chock as it is too wide to insert between tires. I found another x type chock from winfield which I believe will work. My issue now is with what material/product to use to level side to side. If I use lynx leveler blocks I can only go 2 blocks high because of the limited spacing between tires. Of course I could set the blocks behind both tires and drive backwards until the tires are resting on their appropriate blocks. That seems like a pain as I would have to make sure my measurement between the blocks I setup are exactly lined up with bottom of each tire. I do not want to carry a bunch of wood with me and do not want to get concrete pad sites everytime I go camping to be perfectly level when I pull in. Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions? My tires are literally like 3 inches apart at their closest point. I will respond to any comments if more info is needed. I would appreciate some input. Thanks.

I looked at the anderson levelers. They are definitely on my short list. I have to look at the specs. I bet I would have to saw one down a bit to fit between the tires. Thanks for the quick response.

If you do all you need to do is cut off the lower (thick end) corner.

Like so.

We've just used the yellow leveling blocks. Stacked them up to needed height and long enough for both tires to fit on them. I purchased the Anderson levelers and had to cut them back to fit. However I've not had a lot of luck as they seem to slide on gravel?? So they sit in storage and haven't been used again. It's likely operating error

May have to trim the Anderson's a little more. Some have cut the leading edge off about 1"-2". The 2nd picture shows even more trimmed from the back corner. Trim both of them so you don't have to sort them. I also ran a rope thru the small hole and tied the wedge to the ramp so they don't get separated.

I'm not sure what your issue is with this. It's what I've been doing with my Camco blocks. You put 4 on the bottom in front of the front tire, then build them up. You might need to purchase another set of blocks if you need to go up higher than a couple rows. I have two sets, and I cut one block in half. That's lets me "end" a row twice with a half block, instead of having to use 2 full blocks. My BAL X-chocks also fit. (I think my tires are 2 3/4" apart. Same on both my Roo and my Mini Lite)

Rockfordroo, i guess i understand what your saying about the lynx. I have four sets. My other trailer had enough space between the tires to put a 4-3-2-1 pyramid. I would put one setup between and one in front or in back of tires. I would pull forward or backwards depending on how I set it up. I guess i could do the whole setup of two 4-3-2-1 stacks (if i need to go that high) and just backup or go forward until tires are lined up. Its something I need to play around with i guess. Oh and you must have a smaller x chock than me because there is nooooo way mine will go between my tires. Thanks

X chock problem solved. After messing with the wrench and getting past a stuck point, i was able to collapse the device small enough to get in between the tires. I guess the bonus is I barely have to open it to firm it up to the tires.

I wondered about that after seeing the picture you posted.

A little WD-40?

Glad you figured it out. I WAS going say that your pic didn't look like it was fully collapsed. (I store mine in the box they came in; I HAVE to close them all the way to get them back into the box.)

I have a very similar unit as the OP's (Micro Lite 25KS). I used my x-chocks for the first time with it recently and didn't notice any difference than with using standard plastic chocks.

220Chap, i tend to agree with you. In my driveway which is fairly level along with plastic chocks and the stabilizers down the camper barely moves. I got the xchock to fit and I will probably just use it on the side of the camper which has blocks under tires just to make my wife get more of a sense of safety. She always requests I put it in whether it helps or not lol.
