Where is the water filter-2502 Rockwood Mini?
Can't find the location of the internal fresh water filter.
Any clues on where to look?

First thing... Did it actually come with one? My trailers have never just had one. Had two Rockwoods and now a Cherokee..
No assuming it DID come with one they usually end up behind a false compartment (might look like a cabinet but be screwed shut).

Filter
Not sure if it did came with a filter, no clue in the very generic manual.
Perhaps that's why it can't be found.
Can anyone clarify if the Mini's have internal filters?
Bill

My 2503S came with one. Find the water pump and I'd guess it's very close to that. You might want to remove it and replace it with a 67 cent 1/2" coupler from Home Depot. Lots of examples here on the forum of the OEM filter leaking and flooding trailers. Use an external one instead. If you put hose fittings on the OEM one, you can use it outside.

My 2502s is a 2015 model, similar vintage to yours.
Will try a search near the pump, perhaps behind a partition.

I found this pic on this website:
2015 Forest River Rockwood Mini-lite 2502S Travel Trailer Owatonna, MN Noble RV | Iowa and Minnesota RV Dealer | MN & IA RV Sales
Looks like inside the storage compartment just aft of your rear entry door (under your bathroom wardrobe).

Use the outside filter shown above. Great reminder that I need to replace mine. Even when boondocking, use the outside filter before putting water into the tank.
All stores (wal-mart, Lowes, Home Depot) carry both the filter and the initial install kit. After purchasing initial kit, just buy replacement filters.

If your pass-through is empty, look on the door side to the road side. It's mounted to the front of the unit. Slide the panel away and you can't miss it.

I had one hidden behind a false door under my bathroom sink FlagStaff 32-ikbs. Leaking all the time, removed it using outside filter only. Besides those filters are very expensive.
