Where's the water filter?

Hello,
I just acquired a 2011 FR 8413BSS. There's a wrench in the owner's packet to remove the water filter housing but I can't find the filter assembly. I suspect someone may have bypassed it, but where would it be if it was still installed?

Thanks in advance !
Leigh

No such model as a 8413bss.
NADA shows a 8314bss for 2011. Is that what you have?

Do you know where the water pump is (listen when it's running). Most likely right next to the pump. May be in a compartment closed off by a door with a hinge where the latch should be. Remove two screws from the hinge and open door.

Should be close to the City Water inlet on the outside so look around inside in the same approximate location.

Have a look below your television, bottom door on the left, open by removing screws on one set of hinges. Water filter should be there.

I have a 2011 8319SS and my water filter is under the tv behind a hinged cupboard door.

Thanks you everyone for your help. I did find it exactly where suggested. From reading the trailer manual it says it filters both the fresh water and from the campground connect. The fellow I bought the trailer from didn't seem to know what the large plastic wrench was for. Kinda makes we wonder if he know there was an inboard filter. Seems it's important to know for winterizing. Also, is there an owners manual specifically for the 8314BSS which would give specifics about where things are located etc?
Thanks!!

Nope, no such things exists in the RV Industry. Maybe a handful of boutique RV manufacturers that don't make many.
A generic owners manual has been the standard for many years.

Don't forget to open a faucet before trying to remove canister. It will be pressurized and almost impossible to move. Also, have small bucket or towels underneath to catch the overflow when opening.

Leigh- what TeachTexas says is VERY important. Clean up ANY spilled water. Water is the RV owner's worst nightmare. Even a little bit draining into the floor behind a cupboard door.
