Parking up unused and unopened for 6 months during Summer and Autumn (while overseas).
Windjammer will be inside a large RV warehouse storage facility. I am wondering if I can close all vents and windows or is it recommended to leave a vent open. All have the usual bug screens, but they dont keep the tiny baby bugs out, which grow up. Wondering when I return will evetything smell musty and stale? Does anyone have any experience with such things?
As long as it's inside I would recommend leaving a couple windows and the roof vent open a little. You might want to put some dryer sheets or oil of peppermint inside too.
Our roof vents are always opened when the trailer is stored. We use a small amount peppermint oil in glass cups placed throughout the cabins to keep out varmints and keep the trailer fresh- works great!
Thinking it will full up quick if I leave a window open?
I'm thinking I wouldn't trust 'em. Being long gone, you need nothing going on, no matter how passive.
