Windjammer 3008 info?

We have ordered a new 3008 and wondering how owners of these units like them. How do they tow? I will be towing with a GMC 2500hd 6.0 with 4.10 rear gears.

We picked up our 3008 in February and so far we absolutely love the trailer. I'm pulling orders with a Chevy Silverado half ton which does an adequate job of towing it. The only thing I would strongly recommend is that you run dual sway bars when towing as this gives you much better control over the trailer. I also inflated all tires on my truck up to the maximum air pressure which made a big difference in the feel of the whole rig while towing.

2014 model. Tows good. equalizer hitch. no sway, 1st truck chevy 2500hd, 6.0 liter, trany searched a lot, but have airplane gears. 2nd truck ford 350, 7.3 liter diesel, much better. like the space (living) but, no real storage. approx. 2000 miles so far.

I also miss the outside storage but I guess the cupered space makes up for it.

I suggest the Equalizer 4-way...

I am pulling my 2013 3008W with essentially the same rig. While awaiting factory delivery of our Windjammer, I picked up a used 2006 rear wheel drive Silverado 2500HD with 6.0L gasser and an 8' bed, specifically to tow the Windjammer. Bought the Equalizer 4-way (dealer installed). This is our fourth summer and, after about 7000 miles, I am very happy with it. I do not tow long distances or in the mountains, so my experience is not as great or as rugged as many here, but I have no complaints. Enjoy!
