I think we must have the Atrium slide.

Thanks to all for your info. McTroy, your experience with the same trailer as ours was very helpful. Last night we discussed keeping the bedroom door closed and whether or not it would help.

I thought about doing blackout draperies at those windows. I own and operate a drapery business and know first hand how helpful blackout draperies are. I fabricated new draperies for our 25' Airstream and blackout lined them. Spring of 2014 (late April and early May)we took her (our 25' Airstream, we call "Lola") to Albuquerque, NM and the blackout lining really helped keep that sun out.

Thanks again.

Deb

Does anyone know if we can go to the forest river website, type in our seriL number, and find out if ours has a 13,500 or 15,000amp AC?

Thanks.

No you can't.

Pop off the screen grill and you should see model and serial number.

DH removed the cover from the vent in the location we hope to install a second a/c in the bedroom. We were looking to see if the area needs strengthening to be able to hold up the weight of the new a/c.

I'm going to try to download the photo.

If your camper is not 50 amp to begin with then you will need to do some mods to add the 2nd air. Not cheap. Later RJD

I called the factory today and they said if it didn't come with the second a/c, then it wouldn't be per wired for a second.

Yes, a lot of work, but we really need it as we'll be in it in GA during heat and humidity.

We're a little late in posting our positive outcome, but my DH did finish installing our new a/c unit in the bedroom area of our 3025W. Due to time constraints, it took a little longer to complete, but it turned out well.

We ended up having to run the wiring and placing the box in the kitchen pantry on the bottom shelf in the corner. Out of sight, out of mind!

Thanks so much to Turbs for going out of his way to answer all of our questions and for his great advice!
