Candace, I am assuming you mean holding tanks? You didn't give the year, but most of the Windjammer trailers have about 40 gallons of fresh water capacity and just less than 40 for gray and black water tanks. The fresh water tank is located behind the axles so on the trip out you will be lifting some weight off of the tongue, but try to dump the other two tanks before leaving the camp site as they are located forward of the axle, adding undesired weight.

According to WJ brochure, this model has 43 gal. fresh, 38 gal. gray & 38 gal. black. The models with front kitchens have 2 gray tanks for total of 76 gal. We have a 2809W with one gray tank & a friend has the2618W with 2 gray tanks.

That's what I'm asking guys the second grey tank is called a galley tank usually for the kitchen grey tank is for bathroom sink and shower and then black tank for toilet. The model I'm looking is a 3029w and is a 2015 but with no galley tank and a 38 gallon grey tank! That would get filled up in two showers and a load of dishes. I guess I will look for different models.

The one you are looking at is pretty much a normal setup. The extra gray tank is not really that common, you just have to learn to use less water; not that difficult. Good luck whatever you decide.

Well that's what I was wondering, some models have galley tanks but they don't put in brochure. My big fifth wheel I have now has a galley tank and it was not in brochure when I bought it. So I have 70 gallon grey 40 galley 60 black. This would be a HUGE step down for me, if I went with this camper then.

Hi I copied below Rockwoods windjammer trailer specification. The 3029 has only one 38 gal gray water tank for the kitchen and bathroom. The 3006WK 3008W 3025W have two 38 gal gray tanks or 76 gal of gray water total.

The 2014 2618W Windjammer had two grey water tanks. 38g each. One for the bathroom and another for kitchen.
