See my reply to your post in another post. Sorry for the confusion. Was typo, meant 4 point.

I have a 2013 2809W Windjammer with the electric awning. Would like to leave the awning out more but every time I run it out the wind starts blowing and the awning (held only with two aluminum arms at each end) want to take off. I can use tie downs if there is a suitable place to screw the auger in the ground but I still don't trust the flimsy aluminum arms. I previously had a manual awning with sturdier arms end up on the roof. Any suggestions other than don't run the damn thing out?

I'm sorry but I have to ask, do you lock the arms in place? Each arm has a knob that should be tightened after the awning is extended, this also allows for pitch when it rains.

I have tried with the knobs tightened and untightened and it still wants to sail. As I said I had a previous one end up on the roof so I am gun shy. As far as rain I know all about the pitch but never leave it out in the rain.

Our awning doesn't seem to move a lots and we leave out in the rain, unless high winds.

I am taking delivery of a 3029W Diamond Package next Thursday. I have not yet been able to extend the awnings on it as it is on the dealer's lot between other RVs. I didn't ask the salesman when I was there, and he probably wouldn't know, anyway, but does the awning tube have a slot in it for hanging lights, etc?

Thank you,

Bruce

I have another question about this trailer. Is the sofa bed a full-size queen or a short queen?

Thank you,

Bruce
