We just returned from Phoenix to our home in Fort Worth, and encountered some sub-freezing temps along the way thanks to storm Kayla.
In the past we have found that our windows sweat badly when we are camped in cold or sub-freezing weather and require attention to keep the humidity down in the trailer. Because we had severe wind during part of this trip (
30-40 with gusts to 60 MPH) we found the front bedroom area in the Windjammer to be under heated, so I turned on the fan for the front A/C unit and let it run at night to help distribute the air better. What we found by accident was this also almost completely eliminated the condensation on the windows, nice!
We did this for several nights with the same results: little or no condensation on the inside of our windows. The added air movement seems to eliminate the buildup of moisture on the windows; possibly could do this with a couple of portable fans, but we used the A/C fan and it worked.
Has anyone else tried this, and if so, did you get the same effect?

) was it would be nice if the main HVAC unit would run continuous fan when in Heat mode; mine will not. Then running the second, A/C only, unit wouldn't be necessary to move air around the rig and help with condensation.
