Winter cover

My husband and I just purchased our first camper, a Rockwood Mini Lite 1905. We are trying to decide if it is a good idea to purchase a winter cover. We have heard pros and cons. I would appreciate any feedback you can give.

I covered our popup because we didn't use it for months. I won't cover the TT because I'm in and out of it all year here at home.
IMO sun protection is more important than winter protection. I'd love to shade our TT.

I am an advocate of using a cover. We had a custom cover made for our V-nose Windjammer and have used it for three winters, soon to be fourth. Trailer looks brand new and is very easy to put on and take off.

I would like to cover mine due to UV damage as well. I have seen that some Covers have a door, but I am unsure as to how to make sure the door matches with my door.

They say that those pool noodles cut to length saves the gutter and cover. Hope that's true.

I cut a slit in tennis balls and stick them on the ends of the gutter extensions. Can't play tennis with them but they work great with the cover on the trailer.
