Will my water pressure regulator also regulate the air pressure to blow out my water system?

I don't think so.

I dropped the regulator on my compressor to 20lbs and had the lowpoint drains open before I blew it out. I don't think a regulator designed for liquid is going to work the same for gases but I could be wrong.
