I've always been able to wind it inside of a 5 gallon bucket. It has to be done carefully to get it all wound in, but it usually isn't horridly difficult.

THOUGH- "cold" camping for me is 40-50* days and they aren't often.

Silverback began installing a cord reel in the storage compartment. It's similar to this MOR/ryde reel in this link MOR/ryde Products

I don't know how well it works when the 50 amp cord is COLD.

I roll mine up and use the velco self stick in a couple of places, and then hang it in my front compartment. But I am sure looking at the Mor/Ryde really hard, maybe tax refund time.

Naturally Silverback began installing those cord reels AFTER I had already bought mine.

I have 3 of these which really work great. Before I got them, I used a "Milk type carton" but these are much nicer and more compact. I have 2 power cords and a 50' 30A extension cord.

As far as I know they only make those to handle up to a 30 amp cord. I doubt a 50 amp cord would fit it.

Supposedly they will handle a 30' 50A cord. My 30' 30A s don't fill them, but the 50' 30A gets real close.
