We have the 2010 Windjammer 3001W. The bedroom is a slideout and the bed lifts up to a large storage area that also has access from the outside.
Can I put anything heavy in that space such as 2 recliner type chairs;the ones that open up to recline if you push the footbar with your feet.
I sure want to use that space for as much stuff as possible. I would like to also put the Sidekick grill under there too..
I just don't want to damage the slideout.

There should be a weight limit somewhere listed if not, then contact FR and ask to be sure but I would say you wouldn't have any problems with what you want to do.

Mine has that same set up, and I do just that...sidekick grille, axe, six folding chairs, and a 3 man tent. Been doing this 2 years now, with no problems. Randy
The Windjammer 3001W is at the top of our list for a new TT purchase. Would love to see and read your feedback and see pics too! I'll send you a pm later today. I talked with the FR rep a week or two ago as we are thinking of removing the two nightstands in the 3001W and replacing the queen with a king size bed and wanted his advice. He cautioned us to keep an eye on the hitch weight if we did any mods. Base dry hitch weight is 812lbs.

I replied to your pm. I'm quite happy with the trailer even though we haven't been any where yet...
It's very roomy and nicely appointed. The shower is really roomy. I'll try to take a few photos of it in the closed position so you can see what I was trying to tell you in the pm. Can't do the photos today, but weather permitting, I'll get some tomorrow and try to get them uploaded. Last time I tried to upload something, it had to be a link from another website. It looks like I can put an attachment to this post so I'll give that a try tomorrow...
I don't think you will go wrong with the Windjammer...
I was able to get some photos this afternoon. I hope these will give you some idea of what's usable with slideouts closed. Unless you have someone who is really large getting through to the kitchen is not difficult at all. I didn't take the bathroom because it's wide open and totally usuable.
