12v plug ins

Hi,
We're sitting here on our 3rd day of our 4 day camping trip in our new SP220, this being our second trip in it. Love the trailer but, nope, no 12v outlets. I am going to add a couple myself when we get home. I'll post pics when I am done; I don't quite know where to put them just yet.
Pete

No 12 volt plugs. Plenty of 110 to go around.

Pete, We are heading to Spring Mill in Indiana this weekend ourselves. We are somewhere around trip number 8 I think. I have lost track.

Do you have the cigarette lighter outlet next to your antenna boost? I bought a little cigarette adapter that had a USB outlet in it for a couple bucks. I then plug my USB charging cord from the adapter to my iPhone.

Seems like you find them more on the smaller campers. We had a Casita that had two 12-volt plugs, but neither of our Surveyors has had one. As tanddc noted, there are plenty of 110 outlets, which have been very scarce on our previous campers. I'm thinking 7 in the 220 unless I'm forgetting something.

For the phones you could look to something like this. I am going to put one in ours where we normally plug our phones in to eliminate those adapters and still have 2 outlets.

Never seen this before, love it. One of these should be standard in every RV.

You gave me the idea to get this Belkin unit for my new 2014 Surveyor SC189, same spec for the one you got. Only difference is the USBs are on the end and the orientation of the 3 prong plug can be rotated.

Amazon.com : Belkin BST300 SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports (2.1 AMP / 10 Watt) : Electronics

I also got a twin cigarette lighter style power outlet. I discreetly mounted it on the end underneath the couch/folding bed finding a convenient, always live 12v power line for the slide out that I could splice it into.

It will work out great when the kids are sleeping on the couch/folding bed to plug their game-boys and other portable electronics into.

Amazon.com: Custom Accessories 10242 Auxiliary Twin Power Outlet: Automotive
