2010 Surveyor 302RL Myrtle Beach/CHARLESTON

Just got home yesterday from our longest trip to date, right about 700 miles round trip ! 6 days at Lakewood Camping Resort (Sat-Fri), then headed down US17 to Mt. PLEASANT / CHARLESTON KOA for 3 days (Fri-Mon) Went to Patriots Point on Saturday and toured the Uss Yorktown, and the Vietnam Experience. Only problem besides the 102 heat setting up the first day, was the toilet, water valve sticking! We realy had to watch it, and it overflowed once after my wife had checked it about an hour earlier. Emailed Tethford, and they confirmed I should replace the water valve, and gave me the correct part number.
Here are a few pics.

Sounds like a fun trip...except for the toilet issue. Hope that gets resolved fast! BTW how did you do the shade from the awning to the ground? Looks like it offers a lot more options for shade

Scootingranny its a sun shade tarp, from Harbour Freight.
Its made from Shade Cloth, I think its called. Says it will block 60-70% of sun. It was $29 for 8x16 ft. It has gromet every 2 ft. I used the Camco Party Light holders on the awning tube slots, and just hooked the light holder hook thru each gromet. On the ground side I just used tent stakes and a piece of line, through each gromet.

Thanks for the Info maxjr758! DH loves that Harbor Freight opened up a store in our little town ,,, when I show him this post, I bet he runs to HF to get one of these tarps.

Scootinggranny one tjing I need to mention, is when I had toput up the awning quickly because of a thunderstorm I left the party light hooks on the roller when irolled up the awning, and it punched a small hole in the awning fabric ! So be sure to take those off before rolling up the awning.
Anyone have any other method for securing a shade to the awning roller?
