2010 Surveyor SP186- Help with Refridgerator

I've read the manual and I still can't seem to figure out how to adjust the temperature in the refridgerator? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Inside the refrigerator, on the right-hand side of the cooling fins (I guess that's what you call them), there is a device that will slide up and down to control the temperature. Seems very strange to me, but that's what they told us during the dealership orientation.

I have a 235rks and believe that the fridge is factory set. I believe that the "device" is actually the thermostat... on the side of the fridge is a "gauge - or sticker" that shows colder/warmer. I thought this meant that the top part of the fridge is colder while the bottom part is warmer (further from the cooling fins) I'm not sure how much that would change the temperature by sliding the thermostat up or down.

You really should read the fridge manual... mine tells of the importance of the fridge being level for proper operation (because of the type of fridge). There was also little clips to hold the doors in the open position when storing the trailer (manuals are great - I wondered what they were for last year!). I'm in Ontario, Canada so I don't get to use my trailer year round!

There is also a switch underneath the freezer ( you can only see it when the fridge door is open ) this controls humidity on outside of the fridge door. I believe this will use extra battery power when you aren't plugged in! The fridge is propane but it uses the battery to ignite! No juice, no ignition! no cold fridge...

The slide thing on the right side is the temp adjustment. Nothing fancy and seems to be all or nothing. There is no fine tuning it I have found. It also helped to not just slide the adjustment fin, but move the little sensor on the wire behind it with the entire device either up or down.

Below is a photo showing the location of the plastic strip on the metal fins inside the refrigerator.

Move it UP to raise the temperature, DOWN to lower the temperature.
