2010 SV264 Winterized ?

After reading some information on a 2010 SV264 there is a statement that says the tt is ready for winter camping. The line said "that because the bottom was sealed for winter and better trailering"

Does this mean that all Surveyor SV models are ready for winter camping as standard equipment?

We would like to do some cold weather camping this year, where the nights may go below freezing but not too cold like temps in the teens.

If anyone has done this type of camping with no problems with the Surveyor just let me know.

Thanks for helping me extend my camping time!

The duct work for the furnace will keep the enclosed area fairly warm to keep your tanks from freezing probably in the upper 20s, but I would be afraid to use too use the camper in the teens.

The big problem is the dump valve system that hangs below the enclosed bottom....there is nothing to keep that from freezing. I wrap a string of rope lights around the dump valve and piping as a precaution.

Another problem would be if you are hooked up to a fresh water supply....that line will freeze. Had that happen back in February, and it took awhile to let the sun thaw out my lines.
