Unhappy 2012 SV-294 dinette cushions

OK, my search didn't find any joy on a cushion issue so here goes:

Our new sv-294 has 2 standard flat cushions surrounding the dinette that can be used to cover the table to form a bed. The problem is that the table is the size of 3 cushions, not 2. Is there supposed to be an extra cushion in storage sumewhere, or are owners expected to invent a 3rd cushion to fill the gap? Once again my local dealer has not proven very helpful on this.

Usually the back cushions are also used as part of the mattress when the dinette is converted.

That's true. The problem is that the fully assembled dinette only has 2 flat cushions. The other 2 cushions are curved. We need 3 cushions the same size to cover the table.

Oddly, the 2011 and older models DO have 3 cushions in the dinette. The 2012 model has larger 'curved' cushions so that only 2 flat cushions are needed, which makes for an extremely lumpy bed!

I was just notified by Forest River that they have indeed put the wrong set of cushions on my dinette. They will be replacing everything, including the curved corner cushions that don't fit quite right.

If anyone else out there has experienced the same snafu, please contact Forest River directly. They should sort it out for you.

One thing for you to check is to make sure that they can they get you the same fabric as the rest of the interior.

Shamrock/Roo recently changed their fabric for 2012 1/2s. I need one of the cushions replaced but my dealer is not certain they can get the whole cushion with the fabric i have; which is not longer offered.

Yikes, I'll keep my fingers crossed! The color scheme seems quite common for the 2011 / 2012 Surveyor line, so I'm hoping this isn't an issue.

Follow-up - Forest River actually replaced the entire set of cushions at once, so there was no issue with matching materials due to changes, fading, Etc.

It was a pain getting it sorted, but we're pretty happy with the result (and we have a few extra cushions to boot!
