Do any of you know the rough real world weight of this unit? The dry weight and gross are miles apart. Trying to decide if it is a decent option for my f150 short bed.

One other question...is anyone using the dinette area for a bed and is it ok or is this really more of a 2 person camper? I would likely have 2 extra people on occasion.

Thanks in advance, great info in here!

I'd say it's a two-person camper, but haven't really used the dinette as a bed. However, the folding doors on either side of the entertainment center give a little bit of privacy to the bedroom if you have others in the camper.

I haven't weighed mine loaded, but I'm guessing I'm towing it at around 5,500 pounds.

We have used the table area as a bed for two grandkids and I think it would work for two adults, however, I didn't like the stand that the table is on (when you are not using the couch as a bed), so I made a pedestal stand for the table when it is just the wife and I traveling. It is a little lower and easier to get around.

I think my sticker weight was around 4700lbs. The couch works great for a bed. It's good and long, but only about 4' wide so if it was two adults they would have to be real cosy.

Jerry: Would you mind posting some photos of your re-designed table support sometime when you get a chance? I know there has been at least one major thread about those tables becoming very wobbly.

I'll bet a lot of folks would like to see what you came up with. Thanks.

Our weighed in at just under 5K. sticker weight was only about 24 lbs(i think) over catalog weight. We do not have the front gaurd as some do.

I am a bit of a private person so I would not want visitors in my camper with me. Yes there are folding doors to the bed room but at least in our case, the flip around tv doesn't afford you 100% coverage. Fine for sleeping I guess but not for other activities (like changing clothes).

Agreed. I'd call it very limited privacy. Another reason why it's a very good two-person camper.
