2015 surveyor 220rbs TV antenna

I recently purchased to surveyor and love it so far other than the silly bathroom door, that's another topic. Although I like to watch DVDs camping once I go away to work I would like to be able to pick up some channels for news etc. I can't seem to pick up anything on my tv even in town and don't know the steps to make this happen. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Did you turn on the boost? On our 2013 SP260 its under the television in the cabinet. Ours has a red light when turned on.

Right. On my 2013 model 220, the button is right next to where the coaxil cable comes into the cabinet. Hard to see.

We suffered through our first overnight with only one channel.
Since we've been home I tinkered with the TV and discovered that I had not scanned the digital channels. Now I have 48 crystal clear channels to choose from.

almost always, over the air tv channel issues are because:
1. the owner didn't turn on the boost button
2. they didn't do the channel scan in the menu
3. they didn't pivot the batwing antenna towards the signal
4. they are out of the range of any digital tv signal

very rarely is it a wiring/mechanical issue.

TV reception

X2 re: bikendan response. Although on our SP 240 the antenna is a fixed omnidirectional and can't be repositioned.

scottjmennie, Like others have said make sure the red light is on when scanning for off air channels. However if you are in a campground and they say they have digital cable then you will need to scan with the red light off.
