Im very new to the TT world and want to make sure Im getting the best price. Im looking at the Surveyor 247BHDS. I got my local dealer down to $29k out the door, tax, registration, etc.

Im in Wa and I can get the same one in Oregon for $27k, but no sales tax, so I'd have to pay use tax, which is roughly the same.

Anyone's thoughts on the deal? Is it good? I tried to get them to throw in a sway bar and trailer brake for my Dodge Ram but they said they were as low as they could go on price.... thoughts?

We just got the 2017 247BHDS in MN for a similar price out the door. In my opinion it is probably worth it to buy more local if the price makes sense for convenience sake. It won't take many trips back to the dealer to make up for the price difference in hassle.

The Oregon dealer said I can take it to any FR dealer and they'd honor the warranty work. It does make it easier knowing I bought it from them that way they wouldnt be dicks about doing the work.

Just bought our 247BHDS, after conversion to CAD we paid almost identical prices, but I got them to "throw in" a battery. They wouldn't budge on anything else though. Had to pony up for the stabilizer hitch as well. I drive a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 so apparently I needed the stabilizer bars.
