251rks

We just got back from our first outing in our 2016 251rks. So far we love it. The only negative thing I can say is you can't open or close the bathroom door with the slide in. We spent 2 days at Harris beach or. And 5 days at rogue river state park in pouring rain and were very comfortable. I took the trailer in for a couple small repairs and am ready to go again. Anyone else have this model and how do you like it.

251RKS

I get to pick up my brand new 251RKS on Saturday. Really looking forward to having a new TT. I will be watching out for any and all suggestions.

We have had ours for 6 weeks now and have camped for about 11 days in that time. Being in southern Oregon it rained the whole time but we love the trailer. The only negative thing we found is you can't open the bathroom door with the slide in. We love the trailer and are headed out for another week in early March. I hope you like yours as much as we like ours.

Lightbulb My version of a fix for the bathroom door

So here is my solution to the closed door when the pop out is in. I installed a magnetic door stop on the wall behind the bathroom door. The door is left open and is held open. The metal plate on the door is spring loaded. This way it is less prone to disengaging and letting the door flap around. Now you can access the bathroom all the time. Plus it only cost about $6 at Home Depot.

Great info already, We are picking ours up on Friday, the wife has already stated that she could go through the bedroom to bathroom instead of the kitchen, great though into this. Will go to Home depot, we used the plastic stopper at the bottom door on our other TT and found out it would slide on the travels.

Has anyone taken their trailer to the CAT scales? I'm curious. The trailer is billed as light-weight...yet the tongue weight is over 700#....what is it when loaded to camp?
