Adding second A/C

My 2015 - 321BHTS air conditioner holds it's own in our Alabama heat but when the grand kids come, it takes a beating. Has anyone got advice concerning do-or-don't as to adding a #2 unit.

The 50amp service came standard and I was told the wiring is in place for the second unit. I assume it will mount where the roof vent is in the rear bunk room. Help, thoughts, suggestions, or advice appreciated.

I have avoided contacting the Calera CW facitity where I purchased the unit due to many service problems.

Thanks

Go for it! Especially if it's pre-wired, you've got the hard part done. Pplmotorhomes.com has them for $400! You won't regret it.

My 2015 321bhts already had the 2nd AC on it when I purchased at the dealer. I felt lucky cause I have not found another 321bhts that has the 2nd AC. It's mounted over the front bedroom which I'm pretty sure is where your wiring is. And let me tell you, it blows cold and hard. Wouldn't trade it for the world as we live in Louisiana .Click image for larger version

I just installed a second a/c on my sabre.

Now with that said my friend and I was able to set a/c of the tailgate of my truck to the roof.
My camper was only 30 amp so it was not prewired so I ran a new service for the second a/c.
My camper also had the blocking already installed for an a/c.
Your 50 amp should be prewired and have the blocking.
Just pull down the inner vent trim ring and you should see the blocking for and aft.
If you feel around you should also see find the wiring.
I went with the non ducted unit vs the ducted model and the install was straight forward and easy.
Tonight I had both a/c ' s running and it cooled down VERY quickly!
Here's my install thread.

Buy a dometic non ducted Brisk air II and the non ducted ceiling kit.
Only thing you'll probably need special is a inch lb torque wrench.

My Wildcat was pre-wired for a second A/C that only took an hour to install the unit over the bedroom vent. It made a difference to keep things cool with 100 degrees outside.

So I am guessing if I have no other fan I have no "place" for another a/c unit?

If you don't have a vent in the area you want to cool then it's probably not a possibility.

Not sure if I follow what your asking 100%
