Any major things to know about SV235RS

Hello, I am the new owner of a Surveyor SV235RS it is a 2008. It is in like new condition with very little use. Is there any major things that go wrong with this unit? I am missing some of the interior drapes by the bed and the front bunks can I purchase replacements? Also do they make a screen room that goes onto the awning? Any help would be great

Rich

Not familiar with your unit, but if it has a power awning, I would hesitate putting a screen room on the awning without some sort of support for the arms.

Others have had issues with the rear bed trolly rollers and ceiling tracks. Other than that, I do not know of any issues specific to this unit. We have had a few minor issues with the rear bed rollers only. Overall, ours has been a good unit.

Happy Camping!

Thanks for the reply MOD Guy! What happened to your rollers? Also did you change anything? I would like to put a flat panel and make the TV cabinet storage. Any tips would be great. Your experience is appreciated.

One one of my lower rollers, one of the caps came off the spindle, which alloed the roller to fall out of its bracket.

A few years later, the same thing happened to one of the upper rollers. I fixed both of them myself. Not hard to do, just a royal pain to get to the area to do the work.

I mounted a flat panel TV on an arm, and installed a door over the orig TV canbinet.

Your Cabinet set up may be a bit different. Our unit is an '07, but it was a EARLY '07 that we ordered in '06.

Click on the photo bucket link in my signature to see the stuff i have done.
Once in photo bucket, you may need to click on my name to the left to get the pictures to come up. I keep having trouble with the link.

Feel free to PM me if you want some more info or pictures.
