Blacktank (what does it look like)

Ok, I have searched images and cannot figure this out.

I assumed that the toilet was a straight drop into the blank tank. I have a wand that I use to flush the tank. When I drop it into the toilet and let it spin, my clear elbow shows me as expected that its working. Once the water is Aquafina clear, I can twist that wand around and it actually goes towards the drain(black tank exit) in what feels like a short pipe.

Then the clear elbow shows me "stuff" like I haven't even cleaned it!

So, does the toilet drain into a pipe that flows into the black tank?

i'm not farmiliar with ur trailer. on mine, the comode dropps streight into it. from the other end, it will be the one with the 4" drain. all of mine look the same (waste tanks). fresh water, i haven't seen on this one but it was like tupperware in color.
if u got the waste moving out of the tank, the out line is more than likely clean. it usually sticks where it has a chance to stay awhile.

Like flushing any tank you have to spray the whole bottom of the tank by moving the wand around. The "stuff" may stick in the corners, etc, that when spraying straight down into the tank is not being flushed out, the the apperance of "stuff" when you moved the wand toward the drain.

The large hole in the right tank is where the toilet enters. The vent is the smaller hole next to it.

My toilet location required two 45 degree elbows in the pipe going to the tank. The wand may not even be long enough to enter the tank depending on your installation plumbing.

That is EXACTLY what I have been looking for, wow! What a source of information you are...how in the world did you find that.

Now I don't have to do the flashlight hand thingy, i was even thinking of sending my backup camera down there...yeah...I am that nosey. I like to know where things go.

They were of a Flagstaff with a rear kitchen floorplan. I had a question similar to yours and had them take a photo of a unit on the line.

The forward gray and black tanks are identical in many smaller FR 5th wheels (Rockwood and Flagstaff).

Thanks Lou, I hope mine is like yours sitting within the framework, I was concerned about those that have straps and screws breaking! Without removing the underbelly I will never be sure though.

Any Rockwood Ultralite Fifth wheel owners out there that have seen their tanks?

The Rockwood and Flagstaff are identical (except for model numbers, interior colors, and decals).

Your tanks are just like my Flagstaff.
