Angry brake issues

stopped half way home 40 miles checked brake drums left side ok right side one hot too touch(3sec)the other warm, got home raised each wheel on right side no binding,

Was the tow vehicle hooked up when you checked the wheels for freedom of movement?
If not I would hook it up and check the wheels again with the trailer connected. There could be voltage being applied to the brakes on that side. I would also pull the wheels and hubs and check for any obvious mechanical issues.

Ended up replacing all 4 backing plates and shoes good now😁

Any idea what the problem was?

Bad magnets?

Grease?

We would love to know what the problem was.
