Bring Television inside for the winter?

First winter with a flat screen TV in a camper, do you leave it in the camper over the winter or bring it inside?

Leave it in. Unplug it of AC left on, no need to have stay voltage applied.

We always pulled ours out for the winter but this year based on what I've read on the forum decided to keep it in the camper. I'll make sure the camper interior warms up before turning it on in the spring.

Going on our 7th winter with a travel trailer...have never brought it in and never had any issues with them.

The old LCD type displays (laptop style screens) could freeze and be damaged. However, there's no need to bring in the typical LED or plasma flat screens that are in most campers nowadays.

We have 3 in our 5th wheel and never bring any of them in. They've wintered for 4 years and have had no problems. We make sure the RV is 50+ degrees before we turn them on.

I leave tv in for the winter. I plug a small oil filed tube heater plunged in all winter to hold moisture down. Open doors under sink and the access panel to the pump, water filter and other plumbing is located. Hold the temp low to mid 40's which works fine. Do close roof vents, and insulate with vent pillows as well.

i guess it depends on where you live and your idea of whats cold. We get to minus 45 here some nights.
as far as running a small heater all winter to keep mositure down... power is expensive., but i guess the mice might enjoy the mexico weather compared to Alaska in the trailer if i heated mine.
I use the stuff Walmart sells for moisture - I think is called Damp Rid

We have 3 in our trailer and take them all out. Maybe overkill but it takes all of 30 seconds to unplug them. Then maybe other 30 seconds to put them back in their boxes with the Styrofoam.

Leave it in. Electronics don't care about the temp. Just have things warmer when you turn it on to limit condensation.
