Cabinet door
We recently purchased a Surveyor SP240.... Has anybody ordered a cabinet door and installed it as a quick access to your water bypass under the bathroom sink? We are thinking of ordering one to do just that to replace the solid panel currently in place

We have a SP220 and I thought about just doing a cut-out with twisty holders for the same purpose.

I have order several doors in the past for other projects, but could not get one to fit the panel under the sink. I removed it and filled the screw holes with putty, and put a piece of Velcro on each corner. I put a reinforcing block in the center and attached a knob. Now I can just pull it off when needed. I use this space to store the toilet chem.

Thanks for the suggestion AND pics MOD Guy! This is a great idea.... So much easier than ordering and installing the cabinet door.

Great idea Mod Guy, I'm going to look at the cabinet in our 291 and see if I can use something like this also. Right now I have to take the bottom out of the bathroom cabinet to access the water pump.

MOD Guy..... Thanks again for your suggestion! My husband just reinforced and added handles to 4 access panels in our TT!!

We also use the velcro method described above on our Surveyor 220.

Great idea. Did you have trouble matching the hard wear ?

No, I got real close with a off the shelf knob from Lowe's.

Our access to the filter looks just like a regular cabinet door, hinges on one side even. It just screws shut on the other side. I want to get those "screw shut" things OFF and put a regular cabinet door latch on it with a door handle. WHY do they make the water filter so hard to access?

Boy do I feel stupid, I didn't even known there was a filter in the base of that cabinet. Great idea about the Velcro strips. That is my next project once I get all the 3 M tape out of the channel so I can replace my light strip. Thanks for the good
