EcoSport Sport Vehicle and Watercraft protection

We purchased our Surveyor 243RBS travel trailer this past week and will pick it up this coming week. When we went back to pay and do all of the paper work, the "finance guy" tried to sell us several different warranty plans which we were not to keen on. I know of a few people that blew tires and even though they had a tire plan, they could not collect for one reason or another. The one product he was pushing for was EcoSport Exterior, Upholstery, and MicrobeRepel protection. Really nice guy but I wasn't real sure about spending an extra $850.00 for all of this. After reading some threads on here about fading paint and fiberglass issues, I am wondering if the paint protection is worth it or not. I don't have a problem waxing the trailer 2 or 3 times a year. I am wondering what you people think about it? Thanks for your advice, Boomer

This guy is trying to sell things they get commissions on.
Just buy the 2nd year FR factory warranty for $150.

I'm betting that no one at the dealership told you about it.
Cause they don't get a commission on it.

X2 on the FR 2nd yr warranty.
You can find it here: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...do=file&id=175

You do not need dealer to get it for you. As for the other stuff that is just extra profit for the dealer. For the upholstery, I would just put it outside on a nice day and spray it with Scotch guard. As for the paint, I would just use a good wax or polymer .
