To the OP-- Wally World has the adapters.
I agree, get one.
I've seen CGs in WV with only 50 on some posts.
Also stayed at a private CG in MO that had both kinds but the site
we wanted had only 50.
The owner offered us a loaner adapter with no deposit but I wanted
to use my brand new adapter

So to chime in with the rest, yeah, they're out there.

I've only had to use ours once. We were in a campground that catered to Class A Motorhomes, but allowed fifth wheels in too. The post was 50 amp and 20 amp.

I had to use mine when I parked the camper 6" too far away from the post to plug in ( darn ). Luckily the DW is quicker on the draw than I am and before I could start dropping everything to move the camper she produced my foot and a half long adapter with a "ta da"
