Since we bought our trailer the fresh tank drain has always felt somewhat loose and constantly dripped. Knowing that FR uses clamp systems instead of hose clamps, I thought we could just live with it. It got worse over the summer so today I decided to pull back the foam and see if I could fix it. To my surprise, the blue hose was clamped tightly to the fitting and it was the fitting that had been leaking. From the factory, it had only been hand tight and while unscrewing the drain cap, had continued to loosen and leak more. So, a few wraps of teflon tape and screwing it in snug (but carefully) with an adjustable wrench, we are leak free! I love these low cost fixes....just wish I had the ambition to tackle them sooner!
