I don't have a Surveyor 265 RLDS but have a Surveyor SVF293 5th wheel and like it very much. We've traveled from Michigan to Florida twice and countless trips around Michigan and Indiana. In 2016 we expect to live in it for 8 months and can't wait for it to start in late January when we leave for Florida. Yes, I've had my share of problems but they have all been taken care of and would buy another one.

Thank you for the feedback, My wife and I pulled 265 Surveyor TT 2500 miles from Wisconsin to Georgia back up through the Smokey's with no problems, however we did have small list of things to fix and the selling dealer in Wisconsin took care of these issues the week we got back. Very happy with the layout and the way the TT pulled with the 2014 1500 Chevy Silverado, Wife even took turns driving and was very pleased the towing experience. We are glad we added the electric fireplace and used it the majority of the time to heat with.

Dano... Been looking at the same TT, but the only hang up is you have to walk through the bathroom to the bedroom or kitchen !
That seems to be a problem with my partner. No other solutions in this size that I can find and still keep the rear living area.

265 Surveyor TT

Our first trip was two weeks and we love the setup. Because of the walk through bath you get a lot of space to work with. Also there is a door on both sides do the bath for privacy. If I needed more privacy I would us the restroom at the camp and as backup I had the trailer built with a Fantasic Fan in the bath. Our thoughts are the TT has a great living space nice kitchen space and a oversized bath/shower. We are headed for a eight week trip the first of Febuary and I will report how the two of us do for the two month period.

Ps the Silverado has a 3.42 real axle and is a 4x4.

My Silverado's max out at 7,000 lbs.
I recently installed a computer chip and hopefully it will help towing a dry weight of 5,998 lbs. a little hesitant on moving up to the 265RLDS Travel trailer.
