FYI. Brakes failing

On my way home from the last trip out I had a warning come up to check trailer connection. Luckily I was on a back road and immediately, well tried to, immediately stop but the trailer brakes were not working at all. After checking the connection at the truck I went underneath and sure enough one of the wiring harnesses on the driver side front wheel of the trailer had fallen down, rubbing on my tire. This had worn away one side of the connection and made my brakes cut out. Simple wire marrett and tape for a quick fix and I was on my way. Just a heads up for anyone in the future.
Ps. I recommend better splices all the way round.
