Gas and or Electric Furnace

2012 Surveyor 264 can the furnace operate on gas or electric. When we were given our operating tour we thought that he said yes it can work on either but it starts getting blurry after 2/3 hours of information.

propane only. the electronics are 12v but when you're plugged into shore power, your converter will convert it into 12v to run the furnace.

many purchase a ceramic or radiator-type heater when you have 110v AC power, so you don't have to burn so much propane.

Ditto what bikendan said. Perhaps you are getting the furnace confused with the water heater which is both propane and electric.
