grey tanks on surveyor 264

Hi All,

We are picking up our Surveyor 264 in August at Stoltzfus Rvs in Adamstown PA. Does anyone know the capacity of each of the grey tanks on this model? The specs say 30 gal. grey, but I am uncertain how this works with two separate tanks. Thanks for any help. Irene L

1 tank is a 36 gallon fresh water tank. 1 tank is a 30 gallon black tank.[for going to the pottie] and 1 tank is a 30 gallon grey water tank.[ sinks and bath tub] Hope this answers your question.

Most surveyors that I've seen have one grey at 30gals and a black tank at 30 gals. At least that's the way ours is.

Thanks cat1956. Our trailer has two separate gray tanks, one for the shower and one for the galley sink. I was wondering what the capacity for each of the two gray tanks is. There is a separate sewer connection for the galley holding tank. We are glad that the bath sewer connection has both black and gray.

I think the fresh water tanks are actually 30 gallons. Then they add the 6 gallons that they assume are in the hot water tank.

Acadianbob is correct. They like doing that. Makes you think you have more than you can actually use. Most of the specs I've seen where there's two grey tanks involved, they list the combined capacity. Maybe they did it differently on yours because I can't believe they'd split 30 gals between two tanks. I guess the only way to know for sure is to dump water in each of them till it fills up.

Thanks to all who replied. I finally asked the salesman who sold us the trailer. He said there are two 30 gal gray tanks. This is great news for us because we camp in a lot of state parks on our travels and very few of them have full hookups.
