We stayed there 3 weeks ago. We were 4 spaces from the beach. We will be going back there again in March. Less traffic getting around in that area over staying in Ocean Lakes. Another nice place, just traffic down there is a mess.

Arugh! Blew out lines on MH,drained all tanks, low points and added antifreeze to traps and toilet but still hoping to get out again. After 2nd warmest Oct in New England had hoped for more but temps in teens forecast for this weekend, still keeping cover off for now!!

Did you find an open campground with hook ups? I found everything in the north closed and went to Hidden Caverns in Virginia last weekend near Luray Caverns. But they close Nov. 15th. I found you need to continue going south. Unless you are boondocking.

Gettysburg Battlefield Resort off Emmitsburg Road. We were here this past January when it was 16 over night. As far as I know, they are open all year. There i a CG in Maryland off rt $ east of 301 and it is open all year. Dont remember the name because it changed. Have stayed there several times.

Not a fan of any CG in Myrtle but Travel Park is the best on the beach and in the neon jungle. There is a much nicer CG 20 minutes from the beach. Large sites and quiet. Fire rings too.

We just winterized ours this last Sunday. My family and I had an absolutely awesome first season. 1879 miles, 19 nights away from the house and countless family nights "camping" in the driveway. The kids loved it and are already talking about the places we'll go next year.

While I dont have an exact count, we totaled 40 - 50 days camping with 10,000 miles traveled in 2017. This is with kids in school and both of us working full time.

We just bought our MH (first RV ever) this September and we are taking it out this weekend. I also have plans to go out on MLK day weekend in January and Lincoln's B'day in February.

It's good to live in California! I also feel lucky to have a lot that allows me to keep the RV at home in the driveway.

We camp all year, any excuse to go. We are planning on camping right after Christmas thru New Years if all goes well.
Wife just found out this morning she has breast cancer so that may change our plans altogether.
Today is the first day of another new life, living with cancer.
I had my life change 11 years ago with prostrate cancer, we know the shock of the doctor telling you have you it. That caused us to change our outlook on life, bought a Honda Goldwing and put 98,000 miles on it doing things we wanted to do before it was too late. Two years ago my son passed away, that changed our lives some more, now this. We will survive, just become different people each time.

Merry Christmas to all our camping friends!!!
