Hub Dust Cover Removal?

On my Surveyor 186, I have white hub dust covers with five points enbossed and raised on the round cover. Before I break something--prone to do--how are these covers removed? Are they threaded? Do you pry them off? Thanks!

If those hub dust covers like like this QuickTrim® Chrome Trailer Hub Cover, 5 on 4-1/2" #QT545CHS then they just pry off.

That was the 1st thing I removed from my trailer. I can't check the hubs for heat during my rest stops, or torque my lug nuts with those puppies in the way.
