Keyless Entry Issues?

We just picked up a brand new SP240RBS that has the keyless entry. I tried to program it last night and it was driving me crazy, it worked sometimes and not others. I finally tried putting new batteries in, and that solved the problems, it now works like it should. I guess I was thinking a brand new 2015 would have good batteries to start with, but it didn't. SO....if you have issues with your keyless entry, try new batteries!!

Depending on how far you need to drive to them... I email Bauer, got a quick response and a new lock sent out to me. I was not really happy with the new one as it had to be SLAMMED to close the door and they sent me a new one with in days again... I think that is GREAT service.

That was my original plan but they have to replace my A/C unit and a couple other things. I'll let them deal with it then

Just got my new Sierra with the Bauer Keyless entry, locks excellent unlocks excellent with the new code., until I closed the door for real time test, the door will lock with superior ease, but will not unlock, I have to use my key which turns super super easy so I know its not binding. Works great with the door open testing it, only lock when door closed.

I called Bauer, told them my problem, and they sent me a new lock. I sent the old one back and the new lock works perfect.

Has anyone tried the AP Products Electric TT Lock? Was checking it out on Amazon, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it:

My unit came with the Bauer Lock. Had problems and they sent me a new one. Worked fine a few times (new batteries) now it doesn't open or lock. I gave up, just use the key.

On my second lock, since the first bauer was dead, I actually found 8 needed to adjust the striker and the door latch hole so it could close. They were not parallel to each other so the striker did not clear. Other wise working good.

I moved it to the rear lock now and have an rv lock with keyless remote fob on the front. It is working good so far. Rv lock is the brand.
