Kitchen Slide Drain Problem and Fix

Recently we had a problem with the kitchen sink drain underneath the kitchen slide. In a nutshell, the flexible drain hose would put pressure on the permanent mount when the slide was activated. So, using the slide caused the coupling to fail...repeatedly. :-(

Rather than taking it in to the dealer for a warranty fix, past experience and many lost days of camping time motivated me to fix the issue myself. So, I spent a couple hours lying on the ground, reaching through the small opening, and making a SOLID permanent repair.

Attached are a few sketches that show the original factory problem and how I fixed the issue (TOTAL LAMENESS to whoever originally installed the drain hose at the factory BTW!).

I'm hopeful these sketches might prove helpful to anyone who experiences a similar issue.

Cheers!
