I have the rack in the picture. We've travelled with 4 bikes on it often. Never an issue.

I weigh 300 pounds and stand on it to wax the back end. It has very little flex when I'm on it.

I'm going to remove it for our long summer trip this year. We don't need the space, and I'm betting it weights over 100 pounds.

Correct Bike Rack

So... wow... what a time I have had getting this bike rack. I ordered the one with the spare tire holder in June. We left for a two week trip around the 4th and it was supposed to be in before I left. It did not come it and we ended up only taking the kids bikes in the back of my truck.

I get back and go to pick up the rack and not mounting brackets. Really? It doesn't come with them. Wow. So no way to install it. Those had to be ordered separately. After emailing Lippert and getting part number my dealer ordered those. I get them.. I can't even remember when but it was at least late July. The rack does not fit! Seriously! It is too wide.

I email Forest River... guess what... there is a specific bike rack part number for my Surveyor Trailer. I don't know if it is specific to Surveyor, Forest River or just another option.

I of course contact my dealer and they are ordering the new part number. I started this in June and still do not have a bike rack... but I will have one eventually.

So.. the correct part number is 353256... at least for my Surveyor 32BHDS.

Hope this helps if anyone is looking at ordered one of these. I should have gotten the drawing of the 1st one I ordered and measured my frame. I would have known then it was the wrong one before I ordered it.

I really like my Surveyor rack but it is hard on the bikes. You have to be careful that the inside bike is secure enough not to hit the fiberglass on the coach. The bikes have to be tied together and that causes them to rub paint and damage seats etc.

My rack is in front of my 50 AMP outlet, cable and city water connection, it has to be down or off when at a campsite for the hookups.

I want to say mine has a 150lb capacity but I am not 100% on that.
