I lowered the mount for the TV and then cut a hole above the TV to accommodate the Dish receiver. I attached a mounting board in the bottom of the hole and have the receiver extending into the bedroom area and the front of the receiver even with the TV.

Looks nice!

Did you (or anyone else) happen to have the occasion to see what is behind the round pillar things on the outsides of the entertainment center? We are thinking about adding some speakers there that face the bed room.
