locked up tight

We had taken our new unit to the dealer to have warranty items looked at. After a rainy cold weekend we went to pick it up and our keys wouldn't work in the living room exterior door. The young helpful service clerk came outside to lend a hand. Even though I had marked the 2 keys and warned him they looked similar, he ended up jamming the bedroom exterior key into the living room exterior lock and forcing it to turn.
Of course it jammed in the locked position.
This model of trailer has opposing slides. The controls for the slides are right inside the living room door. We could not enter the living room area from the bedroom with the slides in, and we couldn't extend the slides.
After standing around in freezing temps for about an hour a technician came and manually extended a slide, we went in through the bedroom and they changed the whole door handle mechanism.
We never did find out why the keys wouldn't work in the first place, but we did learn how to manually extend one of our slides, and learn to never jam a key into those locks.

And this is one of those stupid annoying thing that mfgs. do. Both door locks should have been keyed alike. Glad you got it taken care of.
