Low shower water pressure?

If anyone has low pressure, ours happened to only be in the shower, check the hoses near the pump. On our SP220 they are under the couch. I had to remove the left side by taking out some screws. One of the hoses was kinked and one was squished behind the slide out. The hoses were too long and routed carelessly from the factory. The pump was also louder than it had been because it was struggling. I cut the kinked section out, rerouted them and tied them out of the way where necessary.

Pump was also only held down with two screws instead of four. Must be a cost savings. :-)

Hope this helps.

Paul, I noticed we had the same problem on our new SP 240, I removed the water limiter in the shower hose, but it didn't improve. I guess I had better check my pump and hoses. Thanks for the heads up.
