Manual slide operation Surveyor SP220

Our 2014 Sport 220 came with a tool to manually retract the slide. Does anyone know where/how it attaches to the slide mechanism, and how to access the attachment point? Thank you.

Safe travels.

It's under the dinette area. You have to unscrew the lower panel on the front of the seating area. Haven't done it, but they showed us during pdi. Ours is 2013.

Thank you mjones 12. Yes there is a screw on the top side at each end of the lower front panel. The fabric was covering the screw heads. Could not find them so ended up prying the panel up and replacing them with new screws that I can now see. Pretty interesting under there. Not only full access to slide system, but also back side of fresh water inlet and black tank flush. Never thought my tank flush worked well and it turns out the inlet hose was kinked. Oh, and lots of sawdust and dust bunnies ;^). BTW there is room next to the wheel wells for "deep storage". A bit tough to get to but maybe for those items we carry for "just in case" and hope we never have to use.

Thanks again and safe travels.

You're welcome any time. Glad to hear about the other things that can be accessed under there.

Hello oldcat,
If at all possible, could you please post a picture of your slide tool? Our 2013 220 did not come with one that I know of but it might be the tool I thought was for the scissors jacks. Thank you! Happy Camping!!

I think the same tool does both jobs.
