New 264rks owner in michigan

The wife and i decided to purchase a travel trailer last year as i am a competetive shooter and spend a lot of time on the road. We, like others im sure, figured on a good used unit. However, we found the 2015 surveyor much better to our liking. We have not made the maiden voyage yet, but plan to over easter weekend.

Mine is the same floor plan, but sits lower because it's on TorFlex axles. In 3 years, I've had few problems... that I didn't cause... I hope yours gives you the same good service mine has. My break-in trip was 8 weeks long because my job moved unexpectedly and I had to live in it while our house was on the market. My only complaint is that it needs a larger AC unit in the Texas heat. I'm leaving on a fishing trip with my 2 sons tomorrow.

Don't leave anything in the sinks. The plastic sink in mine cracked and I replaced it with a stainless steel unit. My fault for leaving a bottle of dish-washing soap in the sink on a rough road. Lesson learned: Rear-kitchen units need a little more care packing the cabinets.

Be safe... and enjoy... and welcome to the forums...

One other thing... especially up where you are... find out where the water filter is. Even here in Texas mine froze and broke. I bypassed it and now use an outside filter.

Again... best of luck with it...
