New Surveyor Antenna Wobble / Info ?

On my new 243RBS, the tv antenna wobbles. Dealer tech thinks it's normal, but I'm not sure. The horizontal part of the antenna is what wobbles, the vertical piece mounted to the roof is fine. Haven't found any info on this, or even a brand name in my paperwork. Is anyone else's antenna wobble? Any info is appreciated.

Mine does the same. Slight wobble, no means to tighten it, nor to tune / rotate it. I guess, this is the new normal with these.

Thanks for letting me know. Going to have dealer look at it again while they have it for a few other issues. It's kind of annoying when you're sitting inside and its taping away in the wind.

Antenna wobble

I have the same problem on mine, 2016 251RKS. I just plan on replacing it with one of the King units.

Ours also vibrated in the wind so i removed the antenna, wrapped black tape around top of post. Fixed.

Thanks for the info everyone. Sounds like replacement / removal are the options, vs. fixing.

I forgot to add that after I removed the antenna and wrapped electrical tape around the top of the post I put the antenna back on and the rattling was stopped.

You have the same antenna as I "had" on my Surveyor Fifth Wheel. Reception was crappy, so replaced it with a King Jack and haven't looked back. Suggest you look into doing it too. Happy Camping.

jerryliving, until you said something I didn't really think much about it except that you removed it. Makes more sense now, and gets rid of the rattle. Will have to look into it. Thanks.
