Next inpressions of SV-264

I too just took the new 264 out for it's maiden voyage! Here are my impressions (mostly gripes):

- Used the heat - that worked well

- In this day and age, you'd think FR could put in a better system to monitor propane levels

- Speaking of this day and age, you put a nice 26" HD tv in a camper and then you put a stereo in with DV player with analog output - please!!!

- Have you noticed that the gutter spouts are right over the outside storage doors? Gotta love packing up in the rain!

- Towed nice.

- The lights are so bright, it's annoying, is there a softer option? Thought about a lamp at the br end of the sofa, but no elect.

Granted these are all small stuff, but my expetations were so high!! Never owned a modern camper before!

I have the same 2012 unit and I have to agree on the gutters and the out dated stereo system, I ran electrical cord for a lamp behind the couch. The stereo only has recognition of my seven year old I-pod nothing newer, but overall I like the trailer.

You might want to try replacing your light bulbs with LED's. The ones I have seem to be more on the blue end of the light spectrum. Maybe because they are the cheap ones. But they are not as bright if that's what you are looking for.

There are plenty of lighting options for you.

I replaced every bulb in my trailer with LED lights from eBay. I tried a few and found the ones labeled to be warm provide a softer light and are slightly less bright.

anyone found an LED porch light bulb that preforms as well as an Incandescent

We used our camper for the first time this weekend. I hooked up my iPhone and we listened to music outside. Loved that. My husband did make the same uncomfortable observation with the downspouts. Making me giggle as I type.

One other thing I have done is to replace the seat cushion foam with a better density foam, why thy use this light stuff I don't know, if it was done at construction the added cost would be very little but profit always seems to win over quality these days.
